Move beyond survival mode and build a life that feels like your own
Trauma-Informed Support for Identity, Boundaries, and Healing
When you have spent years surviving difficult, unsafe, or emotionally neglectful experiences, the patterns that once protected you can begin interfering with the life you want now. You may struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, boundaries, relationships, self-worth, or knowing who you are apart from what others need from you.
I provide trauma-informed therapy for adults working through complex trauma and symptoms commonly associated with CPTSD. Our work may include understanding survival patterns, increasing nervous-system awareness, processing painful experiences, clarifying your values and needs, strengthening boundaries, and intentionally building a more grounded sense of identity. You will not be pressured to disclose everything at once or move faster than feels manageable.
Telehealth therapy is available to adults located in Arkansas, Colorado, and New Mexico.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is complex trauma or CPTSD?
Complex trauma can develop through prolonged, repeated, or relational experiences in which a person did not feel safe, supported, seen, or able to escape. In addition to traditional trauma symptoms, people may experience difficulties with emotional regulation, self-worth, relationships, boundaries, trust, or their sense of identity.
How can therapy help with complex trauma?
Therapy can help you understand the patterns your mind and body developed to survive, recognize what activates your alarm system, process painful experiences, and practice responding with greater choice. The goal is not to erase your past but to reduce its control over your present life.
Do I need a formal CPTSD diagnosis?
No. You may request therapy if you identify with the effects of childhood trauma, emotional neglect, dysfunctional family dynamics, prolonged relational trauma, or living in survival mode. Your symptoms, history, needs, and treatment options can be explored during the intake and assessment process.
Will I have to talk about every traumatic experience?
No. Trauma therapy does not require you to disclose every detail immediately. We will work collaboratively and build awareness, stability, and coping resources while approaching difficult experiences at a pace that considers your needs and readiness.
How do I know whether this therapy is suitable for me?
This approach may be a good fit if trauma-related patterns are affecting your identity, boundaries, emotional regulation, relationships, self-worth, or ability to feel safe and present. Suitability is determined through the intake process and initial assessment, and another service or referral may occasionally be recommended.
